The City of Manvel Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the city's infrastructure. Our Public Works employees are highly trained, utilize state-of-the-art equipment, and are committed to providing the highest quality service to our residents.

Street Light Outage

Report a streetlight outage to CenterPoint Energy.

CenterPoint Energy maintains street lights throughout our electric service area in the Houston area. Please use the link above to report a street light outage. If you need to report a power outage please call 713-207-2222 or 800-332-7143, or view their Outage Tracker for current electric outage information.

When reporting a streetlight outage, you will be asked to provide: 

•     A pole number for the non-functioning lights you want to report
•     Contact information (in case more information is needed to locate a street light)
•     An e-mail address (if you want feedback regarding your repair request)
•     The number of street lights you would like to report

Meter Leaks

To report a meter leak, please refer to the table at the bottom of the page to locate the appropriate contact for your subdivision. If the City of Manvel is your contact and it is after-hours, call 281-489-1212.

Missed Waste Collection

Report a missed collection to Waste Connections online, or call their service number at 281-331-0810.

Potholes

Report a pothole to the Public Works Department online, or call their main number at 832-604-4542.

Sewer Line Issues

For sewer line breaks and stoppages, please call the non-emergency number at 281-489-1212.

Gas Leaks

Report a suspected gas leak to Centerpoint Energy by calling 713-659-2111 or 888-876-5786, or by visiting their website.

Water Main Breaks

To report a water main break, please refer to the table below to locate the appropriate contact for your subdivision. If the City of Manvel is your contact and it is after-hours, call 281-489-1212.
