The City of Manvel invites school-aged artists to participate in the annual Holiday Art Contest! Participants must submit their artwork in person at City Hall, 20031 Morris Ave, by Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 22, 2025.
This friendly competition allows students to share their creativity and holiday spirit with the community. Students of all ages who live in or attend school within the City of Manvel are encouraged to enter to win a special prize and have their artwork displayed inside Manvel City Hall throughout the following holiday season.
A panel of judges will select winners from three age groups:
- Kindergarten – 5th Grade
- 6th – 8th Grade
- 9th – 12th Grade
Accepted art mediums include:
- Paintings
- Drawings
- Collages
- Prints
- Mixed Media
Submissions must be dropped off no later than 12 p.m. on December 17, 2025, at Manvel City Hall, 20031 Morris Ave. Artwork should be created on 8x10,” 11x14,” or 11x17” paper and clearly labeled on the back with the artist’s name, age, and grade.
Winners will receive a prize and be recognized at the City Council meeting on January 5, 2026. Their artwork will remain on display in City Hall through the following holiday season.
