The City of Manvel’s contractor will begin Phase 1 construction on Heritage Park and the City Hall West Wing on Monday, February 2, 2026. As part of this project, a portion of Large Avenue located behind City Hall will be closed to through traffic.
The closure will affect Large Avenue from Palmetto Street to Masters Road, directly behind City Hall, 20031 Morris Avenue. This extended road closure is anticipated to remain in place through June 2026. During this time, residents and visitors are asked to plan for alternate routes when traveling in the area.
