The Manvel Police Department is now accepting applications for its upcoming Citizens Police Academy! This program, offered to individuals over the age of 18, provides residents a unique, behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement operations in the City of Manvel. The Citizen Police Academy will take place weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m., August 19 - October 7, 2025, at the NEW Police Station, 6605 Masters Rd.
The Citizen Police Academy gives participants a hands-on introduction to the many aspects of modern policing. From patrol procedures and criminal investigations to traffic enforcement and decision-making scenarios, attendees will gain valuable insight into the duties and responsibilities of local officers.
