The City of Manvel will host its annual Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Croix Park, 4503 County Road 84, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This family-friendly event promises entertainment, games, and egg-citement for all ages!

Spend your Saturday with the City of Manvel as we celebrate Easter at our annual Eggstravaganza! The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with an array of activities, including kid-friendly music, inflatable attractions for all ages, train rides, an Easter tattoo station, pony rides, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Food trucks offering a variety of treats and drinks for purchase will be on-site throughout the event.

An Accessible Egg Hunt will take place at 10 a.m., prior to the official start of the event, to ensure a safe, inclusive, and sensory-friendly experience for all participants. The Accessible Egg Hunt requires participants to sign up for the event at www.cityofmanvel.com/eggaccessibility.

All standard egg hunts will take place at 12 p.m. The City of Manvel will provide complimentary tote bags for egg hunters; however, children are welcome to bring their own baskets. Egg hunts are divided into four age groups:

• Bunny Egg Hunt: Ages 0–3

• Cottontail Egg Hunt: Ages 4–6

• Rabbit Egg Hunt: Ages 7–10

• Hare Egg Hunt: Ages 11-14

• Jackrabbit Egg Hunt: Ages 15+

Please be advised that a 90-day burn ban is currently in effect for Brazoria County. The Manvel Fire Marshal's Office will NOT accept any Open Burn Permit applications until further notice. All previously approved open burn permits will be placed on hold for 90 days. All open burn operations within Manvel city limits are prohibited until the burn ban is lifted. Details of the Brazoria County Burn Ban are provided through the link on the Brazoria County Website.

City of Manvel administrative offices, located at 20031 Morris Ave., 20025 Morris Ave, and 9431 Uzzell Rd., will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents’ Day. Administrative offices include:

• City Manager’s Office
• City Secretary’s Office
• Development Services
• Fire Marshal’s Office
• Manvel Municipal Court
• Public Works
• Utility Billing

Manvel administrative offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 7:30 a.m.

The regular meeting of the Manvel City Council, typically held on the first and third Mondays of the month, will shift to Tuesday, February 17.

Trash collection will NOT be affected by the holiday.
