The City of Manvel invites residents to an informative Budget Town Hall meeting on August 28, from 6:30 - 8 pm, at Manvel City Hall, 20031 Morris Ave. This event offers a unique opportunity for community members to gain insights into the City's budget, the proposed tax rate, and gain an understanding of how municipal budgets operate.

The Budget Town Hall is designed to foster transparency, collaboration, and a deeper connection between City Council, City staff, and residents. Attendees will have the chance to engage with City officials and administration, who will provide a presentation on the intricacies of the budget allocation process and the proposed tax rate.

As part of the City’s commitment to ensuring the community’s questions are heard and sufficiently answered, we encourage residents to submit their questions in writing ahead of time through our website at cityofmanvel.com/budgetquestions or in-person at the event. During the Town Hall, there will be a dedicated Q&A session that will address comments and concerns provided by residents.

"The Budget Town Hall is an opportunity for us to share the financial blueprint of the City and engage in meaningful discussions with our community,” said Interim City Manager Dan Johnson. “We believe in providing our residents with the information they need to help us shape the future of Manvel."

The event underscores the City's dedication to promoting transparency and active citizen engagement. The Town Hall is a chance for residents to get a firsthand look at how their tax dollars are utilized and to actively participate in shaping the City's financial priorities.

Residents, mark your calendars for August 28, and join us at Manvel City Hall from 6:30 - 8 pm for this enlightening Budget Town Hall experience! Together, we are building a stronger, more informed, and connected community.
