The City of Iowa Colony, with participation from the City of Manvel and the Alvin Independent School District, will host its annual Independence Day celebration, Fourthfest, with an exciting twist; this year, Fourthfest will span two days! The event will take place on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Freedom Field, 10855 Iowa Colony Blvd., bringing together the communities of Iowa Colony and Manvel for a weekend full of family fun, live entertainment, and patriotic spirit.

This year's Fourthfest theme is “Carnival,” with the celebration kicking off on Friday, July 4, from 6 - 9 p.m., featuring carnival rides, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks, and the fireworks display beginning at 8:15 p.m.

Festivities continue Saturday, July 5, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., with a full day of activities and live music. The Iowa Colony Teen Advisory Committee will host a Basketball Tournament from 7 - 10 a.m. If you would like to participate, register for the tournament online! Attendees will also enjoy more carnival attractions, interactive entertainment, and food vendors throughout the day. Live music will begin at 12 p.m., with performances from:

• Chap and the Chi Town Band from 12 – 3 p.m. (90s R&B, Funk, and Zydeco)
• Rewind Texas from 4 – 9 p.m. (80s Rock and Country)

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit back and enjoy the music in a family-friendly setting. Please note that alcohol is NOT permitted at the event.

Overflow parking for Saturday, July 5, will be available at 3700 Davenport Parkway. Shuttle service will be provided throughout the day.
