The City of Manvel, in partnership with participating businesses, will conduct its first-ever Back to School Supply Drive from July 18 to July 31. Donations collected at these sites will be distributed by City Employees and Events Task Force members to Manvel area Alvin Independent School District (AISD) campuses and made available to any student that needs help with school supplies. These supplies will also be made available throughout the year as needed. Cash donations will not be accepted at donation boxes.

The City of Manvel asks those within its community who have extra supplies this year to donate them at one of the City’s drop-off locations around town. To make donations more convenient and engaging, the City has partnered with businesses to set up donation boxes at local establishments.

• Almeda Water Well M&M Hardware
• Manvel Feed and Pet Supply
• Corey’s Kitchen
• The Burger Barn
• Brisa’s Tex-Mex Restaurant

Recommended donations include lined paper, copy paper, construction paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, index cards, blue or black pens, #2 pencils, colored pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener, pencil case, colored markers, crayons, highlighters, paper clips, 3-ring 2" binders, pocket folders, report covers, stapler, staples, rulers, protractors, glue sticks, scissors, tape, calculator, tissues, sanitizing wipes, and hand sanitizer.

We would like everyone’s help to make sure that every child has the supplies they need to walk into their classroom confident and prepared!
