Police Arrest Sex Offender Who Failed to Register

James Coleman Henry, Jr., a registered sex
offender, was arrested on May 31, 2005 at 5:30
a.m. on a felony warrant for failing to comply
with state registration laws.
Henry was taken into custody without incident at
his residence, 5339 Patterson Road. Arresting
officers were Lt. Aaron Bell and Chris Enloe. |

Henry
was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Comply
with Sex Offender Registration Requirements when
he failed to re-register 30-days after his
birthday.
After
performing a background check on Henry, Lt. Bell
found that Henry had two felony warrants for his
arrest out of the Commonwealth of Virginia for
Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and
Probation Violation.
Henry could be
sentenced up to 10 years for the Third Degree Felony
and faces a fine up to $10,000. Henry's
bond has been set at $10,000. There has been no
bond set on the Virginia charges, but Henry will
be awaiting extradition once he has served his
time for the Manvel case.
