Welcome to the Manvel Police Department’s web site! This site has been developed to keep the citizens of Manvel and our visitors informed about past, present and future developments regarding public safety in and around Manvel. We strive to keep current on trends in technology and rival many larger agencies. The software we currently use employs some of the latest technology available to law enforcement such as computer aided dispatching (CAD), mobile digital communications (MDC), which is used to connect officers in the field with local, state and federal data bases, and a report management system (RMS) that has an array of investigative tools, including crime tracking. Our patrol vehicles are equipped and can be tracked via global positioning service (GPS) to better dispatch our officers in the field and to provide an additional layer of safety to our public safety personnel.

In conclusion, the City of Manvel is already experiencing a significant amount of growth and is about to explode in population. It is vital that we prepare our infrastructure for the future and it is my goal to continue adding the best technology to help combat crime and to better serve our citizens so that they can continue to feel safe and proud of their community.
